Four named seats/One named advisor/Two seats open
Four seats. Shipped together before.
Scrapeless Data is run by four people who have shipped together before: Adam Silva as Manager and Founder, Jon Moen as Chief Technology Officer, Jake Spray as CFO and Chief Compliance Officer, and James Hayes as Chief Marketing Officer. James Walsh advises on data engineering, and two advisor seats, privacy and state regulation and developer distribution, are open and stated plainly rather than padded with placeholder names.
The seats
Who runs Scrapeless Data?
Four people, four titles, four ownership lines, and no org-chart theater. The bios below name what each person has done and what each person owns here, without borrowing shine from employer names, because a team page is a claim of accountability rather than a trophy shelf. Between them: three decades of data and advertising sales, GPU-era infrastructure engineering, securities-grade financial operations, and channel building across every shift since 2008.
Manager and Founder
Adam Silva
Thirty years selling data and advertising, in the data business before search engines ran it. Built and sold consumer and business lists when provenance was a filing cabinet, which is why this company treats it as an API field.
Owns: Strategy, the supply contract, capital.
Chief Technology Officer
Jon Moen
Systems engineer with a hardware operator's bias for measurable throughput. Previously technical director at a liquid-cooling manufacturer, specifying and selling GPU server infrastructure to research universities and security firms.
Owns: Ingestion, the index, the API, the agent surface, security.
CFO and Chief Compliance Officer
Jake Spray
Finance operator who has run capital structure and private placements, formerly holding Series 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations. Treats compliance as a ledger: every state duty, filing, and audit item gets an owner and a date.
Owns: State registrations, buyer certification, audits, the books.
Chief Marketing Officer
James Hayes
Sales and marketing lead, VP-level in advertising technology since 2008, formerly securities-registered. Has sold data products through every channel shift from list rental to programmatic to whatever agents turn buying into next.
Owns: Channels, the referral engine, demand validation.
Advisors
Who checks the work?
One advisor seat is filled and two are deliberately open. The filled seat covers the discipline this product lives or dies on, moving compiled files without corrupting them, and the open seats name the two places the team most wants outside judgment before launch. No seat on this page is decorative, and no advisor is listed who has not agreed to do the work.
Advisor, data engineering
James Walsh
Data pipelines and SQL since 1997, including ETL for financial systems where a silently wrong row is an incident. Advises on ingestion architecture and the discipline of moving compiled files without corrupting them.
Owns: Ingestion architecture review.
Advisor, privacy and state regulation
Open seat
Open seat. We want a practitioner who has operated under state data-broker statutes, not only written about them.
Advisor, developer distribution
Open seat
Open seat. We want someone who has taken a developer API from zero to a community, and who can grade our docs honestly.
Team questions, answered plainly
Who is accountable for what at Scrapeless Data?
Every function has exactly one named owner. Adam Silva owns strategy, the supply contract, and capital. Jon Moen owns ingestion, the index, the API, the agent surface, and security. Jake Spray owns state registrations, buyer certification, audits, and the books. James Hayes owns channels, the referral engine, and demand validation. When a page on this site describes a control or a commitment, one of these four people is the person it lands on, which is the point of publishing the split.
Why are two advisor seats listed as open?
Because an honest empty seat is worth more than a decorative filled one. The two seats are specific: a privacy and state-regulation practitioner who has operated under state data-broker statutes, and a developer-distribution operator who has taken an API from zero to a community. Listing them tells you exactly where the team knows it needs outside judgment, and it is an open invitation: if either seat describes you, write to info@scrapelessdata.com.
Two seats are open.
Privacy and state regulation. Developer distribution. If you have operated in either arena and want to grade our work before the world does, the address is info@scrapelessdata.com and the honest state of the product is one click away in the changelog.
